Wisconsin’s partisan gerrymandering case will return to a lower court. What’s next?

The U.S. Supreme Court has sent Wisconsin’s partisan gerrymandering case, Gill v. Whitford, back to the federal District Court, giving plaintiffs another opportunity to show that Democratic voters in the state were discriminated against. So what happened Monday and what’s to come?
