Conservation groups oppose Foxconn’s Great Lakes plan

Gov. Scott Walker is proposing Racine be allowed to divert 7 million gallons of Lake Michigan water every day to supply Foxconn’s manufacturing process. Conservation groups oppose the plan saying it undercuts the state’s environmental protection laws and degrades or even jeopardizes the multi-state Great Lakes compact. > Public News Service
