NC gerrymandering struck down as SCOTUS decisions in Wisconsin and Maryland loom


Gerrymandering was dealt a swift blow this week when a federal court ruled North Carolina’s congressional map unconstitutional in its Republican bias. With the Supreme Court preparing to rule on similar cases in Wisconsin and Maryland, there’s a chance the NC decision could be the start of a wave taking down the much-maligned practice. > Mic
