Bipartisan ethics panel passes vote of confidence in its chief as GOP lawmakers threaten his ouster

The bipartisan state Ethics Commission has made a public show of support for its administrator, Brian Bell, as Republican legislative leaders vow to force him out later this month. Comprised of three Democrats and three Republicans, the commission cast a formal, unanimous vote of confidence in Bell at their meeting Thursday. > Wisconsin State Journal
