Assembly to vote on highly controversial Constitutional Convention request

Republicans controlling the Assembly have set June 14 to vote on demanding a convention of states to add a balanced budget requirement to the U.S. Constitution. Passing the Assembly and Senate would make Wisconsin the 30th of 34 states needed to force a convention, which critics fear could lead to wild constitutional revisions. > AP News / Journal Times
